  I remember reading a book from my childhood that belonged to my grandfather. It was an old book back when I was a kid (in the s) so it may have been published much earlier. One of the characters in the book was a man who didn't talk much and was rather mysterious. I don't remember his name or if he even had one mentioned in the : Gwen Glazer.
